Coron Tour: Banana Island

We woke up with a gloomy weather :( The sun is not up and we’re a bit paranoid (for our travel from one beach to another). But that didn’t stop us from experiencing Banana Island.

From Coron Town, it took us 2 hours just to go to Banana Island. Our boat ride was such a struggle. The waves are so high, it was very windy and rainy! :( You have no idea how scared I was, I kept praying non-stop. Hahaha! It was so windy that Mike’s fedora hat fell of the ocean and had to get back just to pick it up. Hahaha!

Touchdown! We’re safe! Hello, Banana Island :)

The place is so beautiful!

I asked Matt the meaning behind the name “Banana Island” – He told us that the island was formed similar to a banana. (Ok that doesn’t make any sense.)

The dog loves him already.

Let’s start walking in front of the beach. OHYEAH!

There were lots of nipa huts. There were rooms as well if you guys think of staying overnight. Why not? :)

Took a few photos before hitting the beach.

Yeah… We owned it.

Such a clean, wonderful place. I love, Banana Island.

Spot the big waves. It was unusual daw na mag-waves na ganyan kataas sa Banana Island. Kaya medyo scary :( That’s me trying to pose. Hahaha epic fail!

…and the swimming begins

and some cheesiness.

I ain’t sexy, I know.

We were somehow fortunate because Mr. Sunny isn’t up. Less “burning sensation” hehe. We did a few activities.

Keep digging guys!

The sexy man.

Oooops, sorry about that :P

Inuman in the morning. LOL. Bakit ba! We bought it at Coron Town ah? I’m not sure if they are selling beers in the beach itself.

Medyo sunny na. Medyo lang.

We were all starving! So no other pictures but this. Hahaha. We had porkchop, fish and chicken for lunch. You can request them what you want. But make sure to give them your request a day before. Para ma-prepare nila kagad :)

We all love the dogs. Very malalambing!

Mike took a nap.

Kuya Ariel told us to leave early because we need to go to Malcapuya Island. :( NOOOOO.. But I don’t want to take the risk! The ocean was deadly scary! So tara na let’s go. But first, I don’t want to miss and take tons of pictures. I’m gonna miss you, Banana Island :’)
