2NE1 “The Party” Live in Manila 060411
If you are a big fan of someone famous, you’ll do anything to see them right? If opportunity comes, grab it and spend all the money you have. Well guess what? It happened to me, my siblings and my friends. It was awesome!!! Remember the photo I posted a month ago? Just after Happee Sy announced that tickets are already out. I immediately went to the nearest SM (SM Makati to be specific) to buy 4 tickets for us. OMG the effort! We were able to grab front row seats at UpperBox B. definitely worth WALKING. Hahaha :)
One month has passed and the excitement is still there. OMG I can’t hide my excitement. Don’t know what to do. I listen to 2NE1 songs almost every day. Downloaded their music videos to dance along to their songs. Level!
It’s Saturday June 4, 2011. I woke up early to meet up with my college friends first. Already told my sisters (who’ll be watching with me) to meet me at Starbucks, Araneta instead around 5PM-6PM. Me and my college friends had lunch at this Korean Restaurant. Well, more to that later…
We were at Starbucks, Araneta at exactly 4:00PM. Aga no? Ask me why. (WHY?) My KPOP friends don’t want to miss the booth outside araneta. To grab a few freebies for the concert. Hahaha! Sus akala ko kung ano na. We got there and the place was packed with KPOPers. Exage! I decided to leave the place because I don’t really like hot-sticky place. Maarte ako sorry. Haha! I am indeed a KPOP fan. I love Korean songs, I love the idols but I will not spend money for that. Haha! There’s internet naman :P
6:00PM my sisters came and we grab some foodams to eat before going inside. Food inside araneta is expensive! Triple the price! Exage!
6:45PM we decided to get inside and bid farewell to @iamguapo. He doesn’t like KPOP. End of story.
6:50PM Jacq and us (me, @madel, @maye and @iamniqz) drifted ways. She’s on the expensive side (LowerBox A – P5,000) with other KPOP friends. :)
Before the main event, there were A LOT of front acts. A LOT, I mean 5 performers! That exage!!! They sang 4 songs each. They ate 15 minutes (EACH!) of our time! But entertaining, nevertheless. They are THE BOMB!
Then the party started. They started with the song, FIRE! Ugggh the fans were going crazy! I lost my voice, too! You know, what’s awesome? They sang every song LIVE. No lip-sync. LIVE. I LOVE THEM.
They introduce themselves:
- CL: Whatsup manila, I’m CL! (everyone screams)
- Bom: Ako shi Bom ^^ (everyone screams + with awww)
- Dara: Kamusta kayo? Ako si Dara! (everyone screams + went crazy)
- Minzy: Ako shi Minzy, magandang gabi! (everyone have gone wild!! Wild as in WILD!) – She’s so adorable!!!!!! I want to hug her
I don’t want to explain everything but they sang 8 songs :( I know konti! But it was worth it! Here are their set list:
