Vieux Chalet (PhotoSpam)

What does that mean, you may ask? It means “Old house on top of a mountain” (Terey). A Swiss Restaurant that has been there for 20+ years. Where was I during these years? SMH.

One of the most beautiful – hidden restaurant around the Metro. Definitely worth the travel. :) A 2HR travel from Trinoma, that’s with traffic pa ha? The place is surreal. It was actually a house – turned – restaurant, that’s why you will feel the house – comfy vibe. As I stepped on that place, I felt the good aura. AHHHH.. Sarap.

The staff greeted us with “Happy Anniversary po!” – I’m like, “You guys know it’s our anniversary?!” Then I saw this:

Candle-lit dinner, overlooking view, open-window, fresh air, petals overload, and a sign that says “Happy Anniversary!” I was really surprised! Like literally! Didn’t see this coming ha! XD

Happy Anniversary sign-board with scented candle.

Momo Cafe

We decided to have a lunch out at Ayala Triangle. During lunch that place was a mess, lots of employees had lunch there as well. AND! Going there at exactly 12noon was a bad idea. Hahaha! I told them to try out Momo Café. Mike and I tried it 2 weeks ago (the Eastwood branch), we just had the best experience ever! Winnnner!! Since I don’t really like talking much, I’ll just photo-spam you with lots of HUNGRY pictures :)

Mercato Centrale

So after a long run, we decided to try out Mercato (pinasosyal na Banchetto lulz) Pig-out!

Can you see my right hand? Hahaha I tried one of their Buffalo Wings. It was too sour, but good enough! Yun nga lang, overpriced! T_T Jologs

We tried Merry Moo’s Candied Bacon, Coffee Kahlua and Sesame something.

Coffee Kahlua. Coffee Ice Cream with Kahlua (alcohol drink). Kahlua blended well to the Coffee. It was a “safe” ice cream to pick!

Candied Bacon. Sweet ice cream with bacon bits. I swear it was really good! Try it. Very different from usual ice cream in the metro. :) Definitely worth it.

The sesame something ice cream. Its a vanilla ice cream with sesame seeds. It was good at first, you’ll get annoyed with too much seeds on it. I don’t know, It was our least favorite. Para siyang palitaw! Hahahhaa

Bie Day - Chicken Charlie

My boyfriend and I never get a chance to hang out during weekends because of MY (take note of my) work. I work during weekends. Well, not all the time, I think, every other month. For this month (November) I worked last Saturday (11.20.10) and Sunday (11.28.10) .. Pretty much there was no Bie day bonding after all. :(

After a very hectic Sunday shift, I decided to spend my whole day with biebie yesterday (Monday, which was a non-working holiday) I went out around 1:00pm and meet him at Trinoma. He told me na we’re going somewhere. So I was like, “K”. We’re supposed to be watching Megamind that time. But ugh. Loser. Walang Megamind si trinoma. So cancel that.

We went to Banawe. To..fix..BUBU (P.S Bubu is Mike’s Honda Civic SiR 2000 model) So yeah. But I did had fun spending the whole time sitting and texting and surfing the net. LOL

I told him that we will try Chicken Charlie along Banawe since we’re already there. :D Thanks to my cousin’s cousin for sharing it to me! Hello Tin! Thanks! :D

She told me that Chicken Charlie is VERY similar to Bon Chon Chicken, the one that I tried with my friend. Eh favorite ko Chicken. There’s no other reason na hindi ko siya try dba? =D

Thanks to Awesome Planet for plugging it. Curious!

The Burger Project @ Maginhawa St.

My sister and a colleague told me to try out the famous DIY burger along Maginhawa St at Teacher’s Village. So, while mike and I were just killing the time, we decided to go there and try it.

We passed to Quezon City Circle and turned right at Maharlika St.
Ngayon ko lang nalaman na sobrang haba pala ng MAGINHAWA ST!!! We kept on looking and looking over The Burger Project. But to our surprised, it was on the almost dead end of the said street. LOOL. It gave me hope, because I thought we’re lost. Haa!

BUT BEFORE THAT, something unusual happened: usually when mike and I are looking for something, we look on our respective sides. Like, he’ll search on his left (since he’s the driver) and I am on the other. So, right before mike saw TBP on the right side of the street, (yes, on MY SIDE) I got distracted on this modernized house that I want and adore! Hahaha. Too bad I wasn’t able to take a picture. X(

Tada! Here we are!

Just like what I said on the first part of this blog. It is a DIY burger. You got the privilege to add your own toppings, sauce, and some meat! Exciting. I really love it.

My order. It must have Bacon please!!!!!

I called it, “BRRRger” Soo adorbs right? :P
He called his, “guapo burger” - lol whats new?

The wonderful place. Very simple and at the same time modern. I loooove the blackboard with colorful calligraphy and doodles. PLUS the photos of amused people on the right side. I wish they took photos of us, too. Hee~
